Some FAQ’s

Can my ‘Full Festival Pass’ reserve me a seat for any performance?

Yes. The “Full Festival Pass” gives you entry to any one performance of Julius Caesar, any one performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and both “From Page to Stage” events. And you don’t need to reserve in advance, or bring a print-out of your pass with you! The Front of House staff will be able to check your name off at the door on any night of your choice! Doors open at 7pm for evening performances, and 1pm for matinees.

What benefits are offered by the ‘Flexi Pass’?

Unlike the ‘Full Festival Pass’, the ‘Flexi Pass’ only offers you a seat at any one performance of Julius Caesar, and any one performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It does not include the additional events and activities associated with the festival.

Can tickets be purchased on the day of the performance?

Yes they can, all tickets can be purchased up until 7pm on the day of the performance at Tickets are also available for purchase on the evening of the performance at the Box Office, however payment for these is currently cash only.

What is the running time of each performance?

Performances usually run at 2 hours and 30 minutes, which includes a 15 minute intermission. Evening performances open at 7.30pm and usually close around 10pm. Matinee performances open at 1.30pm and usually close around 4pm.


Will there be an intermission?

Yes - there will always be an intermission of 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the house. Washrooms are available on both the upper and lower levels of the venue.


Does the festival have a concession?

Yes. Our concession will be open for 30 minutes pre-show and during the 20 minute intermission, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Beer, Wine and Hot Cider is on sale, along with a selection of soft drinks, tea and coffee.


Can I pre-order my drinks for the intermission?

Yes. We run a “London Bar” at the Winter Shakespeare Festival, meaning that you can skip the line up and pre-order your intermission drinks before the show even starts!


Are there discounts available for students/school groups?

Some discounts can be arranged for students and school groups in advance. Please contact for more details.


Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! HTAC has ample free parking, and the adjacent two blocks also have free on-street parking.


Is the Sanctuary space wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is an elevator to assist with access to the upper sanctuary space


Are there accessible washrooms at the venue?

Yes, these are located in the corridor through the auditorium on the right hand side. Please contact any Front of House volunteer, or see an usher should you need assistance.

Will there be any “Pay What You Can” performances?

Please stay tuned to social media for updates of PWYC performances. These are contingent on sponsorship. However we have been kindly supported in the past by Holy Trinity’s Rector’s Artist Fund, and we hope to offer at least one PWYC performance per show.
